I just went though this my self for the past 5 months, I now start the car
and let it low idle until it warms up about 10 minutes. It's annoying
sometimes but good for the motor.

If I drove the car or ran it at a higher RPM it will run out of fuel and I
have had the pump get air bound.

To get it started I had put a 2 liter soda bottle with a feed, return and a
vent hole attached to the fuel filter.

While the wife turned it over I blew into the bottle to pressurize it and it
would purge the pump and lines with diesel and run off the bottle for a few
minutes rehook up the fuel tank lines and it would run fine.

I did all the checks and everything tested ok but until I "pressurized" it no
fuel would flow.
