If you buy Your fuel (USA and Canada) from a service station ask if you are=
 getting # 2 Diesel and keep the receipt.My information only deals with the=
 crabby fuel on this side of Atlantic.In Europe some fuels are way better.(=
and way more costly).
Remember I have to tell everybody from apartmentdweller in New York to Ranc=
howners in Texas.So I decided to tell what Hager did and is still doing.The=
n you can modify the procedures to your own liking,.The Furnace oil stoveoi=
l fryerfat gang will be dealt with seperately.What is Hagar using ? . 1. sm=
all Gatorade bottles. 2 Funnels (several) 3. Blotterpaper. (will do a test =
to see if printerpaper will do) 4. Lab thermometers.Make?
"TEL-TRU".# 2 Diesel ???you will get a runaround answer CYA. ---LOL I did. =
Winterized # 2. Turned out to be # 1 ---you get the drift.
What can you test for ? .   Lubricity and Water and moisture and dirt and v=
iscosity and Sulfur and smell ---color (not a good indicator) and whether C=
etane number is good for you diesel.  No you can NOT get a number by testin=
g  , so you add improver to see if you Rabbit likes it better ---then you k=
now the pump stuff is not up to snuff.Lube and cetane are the most importan=
t in "proper" fuel.      May do Fuel # 8 in future.      Hagar.
