Charlie Brown how tall is your red dot battery.? 8 years? wow must have bee=
n a good one.I did a test here , and the glowplugs took more energy out of =
the battery than the starter did.Reason ? they are ON for a longer time.And=
 I see that people are cycling the plugs several times trying to start.The =
glowplug fuse on firewall does not blow at 40 or 50 amps in glowtime.It is =
a short-circuit protector.Do not jumper except in emergency .Or you may hav=
e a plug meltdown letting Wolfram in to engine (Tungsten).Have one V8 GM he=
re that died from Wolfram ingestion--6 Volt plugs on 12 volt car -yips Olds=
.Doing a rabbit 1.5L today , that came with two plugs completely melted dow=
n=2E ,trying to find the wolfram.  May be in prechamber.           so have =
fun  , and get yourself a small triclecharger.    Hagar.
