[Vwdiesel] Cold weather stalling.

HI, everyone,

I got my Jetta diesel started after four or five tries and it would run for
a while and
stumble even with the timing "T" handle all out. Cleaning up the relay for
the
glow plugs helped butthe engine would still stumble and die. Would you think
that it could
be in need of a fuel filter? The injectors have been cleaned. The light on
the temp gauge
flashes after it starts. This is when the engine is still cold. The engine
has been replaced
and so the wiring has to be checked to make sure all the connections have
been
made correctly. The temperatures today have been in the mid 30's.
Thanks in advance.
Jeff
