Don't know about you, but I haven't put gas in the volks ever. Used to have
to do it for the mercedes, the little screen prefilter would plug with wax,
but the volks has always worked just fine. (0f to-5f all this week), even
starts when NOT plugged in. Must be winter fuel additives used by fuel co's,
The 87 does not have the filter recirc valve either.
