Yes Mark Shepherd  --- I am in favor of  honing my skills and cylinders.But=
 a full power break-in ???  ---not on a Rabbit of mine. One of your country=
men  (motor cycle racer) let the cylinder rust over night and assembled pis=
ton and rings dry   together it went    rings were seated in a few laps. Th=
at one I would do.   Throwing bon-ami at the intake is honing --- I am doin=
g that one if I can get bon-ami in this place. (near nowhere). The piston i=
n the injection pump is honed to the bore.If you ever get a chance  take a =
good look at one ----- incredible tolerances.No piston rings needed.    As =
far as cast iron blocks I can see I did not make cross hatch deep enough   =
