[Vwdiesel] Oil deflector source?

Hmmmmm.....Mine does not have that.

On my '85 TD, I do believe the blow-off valve clamped
to the intake manifold has a molding for an electrical
connector, but no contacts are in the molding. There
is not anything else that resembles an electrical
connector on the intake tract on the TD .

The pressure regulator, best I can figure from
fiddling w/ it, is there to prevent negative crancase
pressure from the fast rush of air past where the
breather hose dumps into the intake boot under full
boost conditions. This prevents dirt from being
injested past the engine seals. When you suck on the
side leading to the intake boot, the regulator shut
off the flow through the breather system.
