[Vwdiesel] Injectors for 1.5L and 1.6L NA (cleaning and adjusting)

It is raining here so it is time to clean  and test that bucketful of injectors in the  rainy day corner.
My inf. is that same injectors are used on both engines. Only the turbo is different. Someone please confirm as correct if you can.  Thanks.
Was flabbergasted to find a reddish powder on nozzle on 4 of them   and the needle stuck.  ???.
Used a BIG pinvice to twist and pull   after heating over a beer cap full of alcohol.       Hagar.

PS :  We better look at filtering again. Caterpillar went to 2 micron filters for a reason.
