The supply comes from the tank to the water separator, then almos
immediately to the check valve, just before it dives down under the floor.
It is a tiny plastic thing slightly thicker than the black fuel line.

The blue line returns directly to the tank, turning in to rubber hose for
the last foot or two.

The parts man said on the diagram, there was another one in the return line
somewhere, but not apparent in the fuel lines I removed from a parter
recently (I busted the supply line one taking the lines off, so I can now
describe it in detail)

Right now, before starting in the morning, I have to pump up fuel to get it
started.
(squeeze bulb primer)
For $50 I could buy an electric fuel pump !
