I found it !  It was that centre bolt in amongst the fuel lines.  I fortuna=
tely have a spare pump ( non functional ), so I took the bolt out of that p=
ump so that I could see just what was going on.  Under the bolt was a singl=
e small copper washer.  I was thinking that the best solution would be to r=
emove the bolt and washer and anneal the washer ( making it soft again ).  =
Now before I do this, I was wondering what the torque on that bolt might be=
 or do I just use German torque on it ( goodentight ) ??
