[Vwdiesel] Problem with top speed ---- (1981 1.6L pickup)

Forrest  a bit from the hillbilly --- I run it on a bottle to see if speed =
is there. Likely is.     Then it is a fuel restriction. Most likely screen =
in tank .   The fillup stirred up some junk and with lots of flow to engine=
 it got stuck on screen.  ---what do you think a good shot ? ---Hagar.

PS happens to me with wax.   The kerosine and AV oil solves "dissolves" tha=
t problem.  I have never backflushed a screen , but I sure as hell have tho=
ught about it.
