[Vwdiesel] fuel filter change 0n 97 passat tdi

Thanks for the advice all.
For some dumb reason I thought I could get away with not filling the
filter with fuel before I installed it. I thought my super TDI would
bleed all that air, but I was wrong. I eventually put a pump on the
output side of new filter and pulled fuel from tank until no air was
coming out. It still had air in lines for quite a while after that,
but at least it started. This AM I checked it out and no air in
lines. And my car flies again!
