Misinformation and scams galore here on the net.      "Netmetering?" --mass=
ive misinformation. "Induction Generator?"  ditto. --- Freelectricity.com  =
  those scammers should be in the BIG house.Do I have CREDIBLE evidence ?  =
plenty. I do not know about standard industrial motors used as Generators? =
  LOL LOL.Hell I worked in an outfit that converted Standard Squirrelcage  =
3 phase motors.
Very expensive procedure.Forget it. Why do it ? if it is so expensive ?. Si=
mple ---the frame. No alternators were made anywhere at that time (1965) wi=
th an ability to handle a severe environment.I do not remember the HP --but=
 they were    on or about   the 5 HP mark.One person could handle.And remem=
ber this was done by a BIG corporation.Moral ? get a proper Alternator or a=
 NON SQUIRREL induction moter.    ---- Yes I did contact the "Sheriff" of N=
ottingham (Who pretends to be Robin Hood) do not buy his panel.  Its a nons=
ense site.i.e no metering needed.LOL.And Charlie Brown I checked your addin=
g magnets site .LOL ---NOT practical in this context. We are talking about =
a VW diesel Genset.
