[Vwdiesel] 2003 Passat TDI?????

hey,

I am sitting here reading the sunday Philly Inquirer's automotive
section.  "US car buyers may get new look at diesel engines"  This
article says, and I quote..."Later this year, VW will begin selling
diesel-burning sedan and wagon versions of its midsize Passat".   WHAT?
  WHO?  WHEN?  I have not heard this anywhere!!!

Are we out of the loop?  Or is it just me?
