[Vwdiesel] Injector Pump Pulley

My injector pump pulley (pn # 068 115 021) is damaged. It has a raised lip =
around the edge (I figure to help keep the belt on) and the lip has section=
s missing. Granted, for the most part, the lip is there, but the damage mak=
es me nervous. There is no damage to the ribbed part of the pulley, just th=
e lips.

My question then is, does it need to be replaced with a new one? Can/Should=
 I use this one?  The new part is $60 from Impex (http://www.vwparts.com) a=
nd I am short on funds right now.
