[Vwdiesel] Mail Order Long Blocks

The entire operation was immaculate with a hot-tanked, bored block complete with
fresh intermediate shaft bearings installed (perfect fit with no binding) :).  I
mounted the block on my stand and built the engine in an operating room environment.
   Built the head inside too using my homemade spring compressor.  The only
petroleum to come in the house was the 30 wt oil I used for assembly.  It was a
little tricky keeping the assembly from walking while putting the final 90° on the
head bolts (took some contorting).  It made a great conversation piece since it was
hard to overlook.  I'll build the next one the same way.
