[Vwdiesel] Glow Plug Question

I have fast and slow which are silver. Cycle times vary with coolant
temperature. My understanding is that there are three speeds. The middle
one is interchangable. The fast relay cycles in about 6 seconds at
100F. The slow relay cycles more like 15 at 100F. The differences are
much greater at colder temps. I can't find my notes where I took several
data points. Glow plug brands draw somewhat different currents.
If you have a fast and a slow side by side, and you put 12V on them, it'll
be obvious. Sorry I can't be more definitive.
