[Vwdiesel] Anti-seize Compound

Bentley says to "Coat the head bolt washers and the threads of either kind
of bolts with anti-seize compound."
Is there some special type I need, or can I just run down to Kragen and get
some??

On a side note, my old head bolts had large 11mm washers that could be
removed and my new head bolts have 4.55mm washers that cannot be removed.

Old bolts stuck out about 33mm from bottom of block and new bolts stick out
about 38mm.  I measured how deep the threads go into the block and it is
about 42mm.  Is this something I should be worried about??
