Could it be that your TD has simply been 'tuned up'... Perhaps try detuning by
rotating aneroid diaphram...noting where initial position is dab of paint on
diaphram/body or simply looking at  'wear mark' on boost cone beneath
diaphram...as previously stated (maybe on Yahoo) experimentation by me by this
method gave the car enough power to 'climb trees!'...although I settled for
detuning for 'miserly' economy mode!...

Could these modern poorly made EZ outs be improved by re tempering to create a
soft centre?...sounds like a chocolate....but I feel it would work
