Self loathing is often a symptom of early repressed pain. Childhood
abuse, parental abandonment, etc. As reflected by periodic threads on
this list, this symptom often reveals itself in times of deep stress and
uncertainty. Treatment is possible. If cost is a concern, many public
heath offices can refer you for treatment that is charged on a sliding
scale.
As to VW diesels, has anyone else noticed that they are getting better
fuel economy since fuel priced jumped? I am seeing about a 10%
improvement. I don't mind driving slower and less agressively to achieve
it either.
