[Vwdiesel] Gasoline companies to boycott

    The last time we wandered off into geopolitics, there were some
reasonable objections from those on older & slower telephone connections
with no interest in the off topic subjects.
    Given the likelihood of recurring rants, I looked into setting up, and
cloaking, a secondary list for topics not strictly related to VW Diesels.
The cloaking would be desirable to keep out undesirables from the insidious
world of spark ignition lowlifes who might try to surveill or even
infiltrate us with their blasphemous lies.
    It doesn't seem difficult to set up, although there are some privacy
concerns what with Yahoo changing their policies frequently so as to allow
greater commercial exploitation of subscribers, plus rolling over and giving
up names and posts to about any government agency that asks for the
material.
    If there's sufficient interest, I can probably set it up over the
weekend and post subscription instructions to both groups.  It doesn't
necessarily have to be confined to geopolitics; the purpose of the lists is
to bring people together, admittedly an alien concept in these times,  and
we might be pleasantly surprised to find that both our Dittoheads and
Progressives might have other common interests, such as beer.
