I guess the oil companies also try to avoid the development of
alternative fuel for gasoline engines. I'm 100% sure that some fuel
could be made using synthetic or plant resources that will also run a
gasoline engine.. I love diesel engines, but with the majority or cars
having a gasoline engine, it cannot be avoided..
But the SUV trend is horrible.. Even a V8 powered "normal" gasoline
car gets _far_ better mileage than those dinosaurs..
