Cool experiment Hagar!
I keep a jar of used canola oil in my garage, so I can observe properties at
diff temps. It seems to stay somewhat liquid down to 20degrees F.
The original reason I decided to purchase a diesel was to burn the vege oil for
fuel. It costs less to operate (free used oil), and has better emissions. Now,
after owning 2 vw diesels, one of which I am putting back together as we speak,
I have fell in love with these machines.
This is truley a special group of individuals on this list. We should have some
sort of regional gathering this summer, where we could exchange ideas in person!
