[Vwdiesel] thermostat & water pump sources and temp gauge

Well, I checked the wiring diagrams 3 times over, and I can't find any
wires with those colours going to a switch or sender under A/C, glow plug,
fan control or engine/coolant monitoring, so it remains a mystery.

I'll fire a note off to a friend who's a VW tech to see if he (or vesis)
can tell me.
