[Vwdiesel] tool sale?

    Not sure whether this is chain wide, or local, but the Lowe's home
improvement store here has its Kobalt hand tools on clearance, with a sign
announcing that a new and improved line is coming.
    I've not used very many of their tools, but what I have seems to hold up
to casual tinkering.  The metric wrenches seem to be just a bit longer than
Craftsman's. I bought one for glow-plug nuts and used it last year.  It
seemed to add a bit of clearance and leverage.
    Sale prices were on combination wrenches, sockets- including deep metric
and metric impact, sets and individual- and seemed to run between 30 and 40%
off regular retail.
    Might be worth a look if one is nearby.
