1980 to 1984 Rabbits.    I save old seals in coffee cans then in buckets as=
 times go by (fly by ?) Lip or no lip ? on seal ?  Lippy ones look like a n=
ewer version. Here are the numbers.  VW with four circles  and lip--- 321 5=
01 641 A   -- that is the best seals here. Other seals  comes from Brazil e=
tc. you may run in to seals  installed by professional machine shops or reb=
uilders ---with no relation to equipment.      Standard seals from  Nationa=
l Seals or whatever are perfectly ok if you check them on spindle , before =
installing.They can be leather or rubber.If leather soak them in oil first.=
     Never tossed an old seal so far ----- for 40 years.           Hagar.
