Those of you who are MAD about diesels -hope you took a look at the biggie =
100 000 HP. Big diesels were born in Copenhagen Denmark by Burm=
eister and Wain. --about 1925 -- 1930. The engines were designed so bi=
g that they were chosen over Nuclear power for the first supertankers. Some=
were made under license in Japan.Where can I find the smallest ????. ---=
Swiss wristwatch drive ? maybe. On the big one you will se a gear on the cr=
ank ..on the left is a small electric motor. I call it a barring motor.Name=
is a leftover from the days it was done with a bar in a hole in flywheel.I=
was in Copenhagen visiting the shipyard when a small person was inside on=
the piston when the motor was started.A horrible slow way to go.There was =
ports in the sides of cylinders for access. Two cycle machines I think.Remem=
ber the truck innertube with Neutral mix ??? same place. My first diesel ???=
 I used to say Kobuta --- wrong it was a McCoy -- for a 72 inch win=
gspan cessna 170. Dick McCoy sure made some wild little monsters. =
    Hagar.
