[Vwdiesel] Dealer Prices

I replaced one of the two parking brake cables
yesterday. It cost me $18.00 For grins, I called the
VW dealer and asked what they charge. First, they said
I should replace the other cable as well, since it
most likely will break soon (it rusted inside the drum
and got weak and broke when I really pulled on the
handle). Then I was told the job was $400.00. It would
be $200 if I had only one side done. Wow! The dealer
cost of the cable is $50.00
