 Right, Nate, but there is a known problem with the crank timing belt pulley
getting loose on those engines, and in turn chewing up the nose of the crank
and the bore of the pulley. I don't remember if it caused by the center bolt
loosening up or not. If it gets bad enough, the engine will jump time, and
you know what happens then.
 I've looked online for a reference to this problem, but only found a little
info, not worth posting. I do remember reading about it somewhere, though,
probably on the TDIClub forums.
