Your learning very quickly.  };-)

The only place you'll see Castrol Syntec 5w-40 is at VW stealerships.  And
at stealership prices.  It's funny how you can't find any info on this oil.
Even on Castrol's website.

But I do know this.  It's Group 3 and it's only API CF.  It's definitely not
the best choice of oil to use.  Especially at the stealership's mark-up
price.
