[Vwdiesel] thermostats.

Probably brand more than anything.  I don't think I've ever had one
fail in 3 VWs w/ 200K+ miles total on them, assume these were OEM
t-stats in all cases.

 this is what puzzles me..
as i use OEM parts...and normaly they last at least 5 years..
(or ...from rebuild to rebuild?)
this is the first one that just 'stuck' shut.
maby a fluke..maby a bad one.
i was just wondering if there could be another explanation....
do they sometimes just...die suddenly? (stick shut?)
