Well, spent the whole day today putting the engine into my resurrected
Caddy (hey, I am old and move slower than I used to!!). The turbo
engine looks really nice in that compartment. Tomorrow it will be AC
compressor, Alternator, Radiator and all of the necessary reconnection
of wires and hoses. Hopefully it will be running by the end of next
weekend. BTW the engine has been completely rebuilt: bored to first
oversize, new pistons, all new bearings (including the intermediate
shaft), 5 quart oil pan, 4 new engine mounts, new half shafts, new
clutch plate and..... much, much more. When it is done, I will post
some pictures on my website. I also have an intercooler and hood scoop
that I will install at a later time, right now I just need to get it
running. BTW, I will have alot of parts off of my parts truck that
will be available for sale cheap if anyone is interested. Let me know
what you need and I will see if I have it. Later, Hayden
