[Vwdiesel] old fuel

It's probably full of water and algae.  And the wax and paraffin has
probably separated out as well.  Best advice is to dump the old fuel out and
get some fresh diesel in there.

Well, it's almost time for me to fire up the ol' Rabbit and see how it
runs. I'm down to needing hoses, a waterpump, belts, and a battery. I
have only one question. The car has 3/4 tank of diesel in it, and it's
been sitting for 2 and a half years. Is this going to be a problem? I
live in Colorado, so it is incredibly dry here. Moisture shouldn't be
a problem in the tank, but I'm wondering if diesel gets as weird as
gasoline does when it sits.
