[Vwdiesel] Jet-A fuelled general aviation engines

I wonder who the engine manufacturer is? The FAQ for the Centurion 1.7
says "the engine is a derivative of one of the most technologically
advanced automotive diesel engines available today." and "each core
engine is completely disassembled and 20% of the engine parts are
replaced with newly designed aircraft quality parts (e.g. crankshaft and
gearbox assembly)."
