deutz diesels are a very good engine, from all i've
heard. and they better be, cause parts can be pretty
pricey.
i don't know the real truth of this, cause it seems
like a lot to me, but my grandfather, who was a farmer
all his life, says that his tractors were just
starting to get broken in at 2000 hours. that that was
still a low number for them! (and they still run
amazingly well.) had to replace a rusted exhaust
system last year, but that was due to rain getting in
the muffler and down in the works.
