[Vwdiesel] 190 Benz questions

    My thanks to all who responded to my questions on the 190 TD Benz I
tripped over.  Doyt's comments on aftermarket stereos were particularly
telling.  The owner began having electrical issues shortly after installing
an aftermarket stereo.
    At this point, I'll have to pass on the car, as I just don't have time
for a project.  On the other hand, I'm not about to let it go to a junkyard,
and will start a Diesel Rescue Kennel if I have to.
    I'll talk to the owner again and will post to the group if she agrees to
it.
