[Vwdiesel] Used Pistons/Head

Yea, I've seen this set (or others) for a few weeks
offered by the same seller. This is a relisting if its
the same set. I was thinking about bidding on it for
an eventual rebuild but......

It is the second oversize and I have no idea if my
block was bored to an oversize before, and if so,
which oversize. If the pistons were the 3rd oversize
(1.00 MM over) I'd be more inclined to bid on the set.
To me, its not worth the potential savings of $100 and
run the risk that I just spent $250 on something I can
not use. I figure I'm better waiting til I decide to
rebuild my motor and then buy what I really need. I
guess if you miked your block and could use the second
oversize it could be a good deal. I e-mailed the guy
several weeks ago when I saw what I think is the same
set being offered now and he said the pistons were
Mahle brand.
