[Vwdiesel] New Member Cruise Control

Hi:
     There are aftermarket cruise controls that
will work with your car. The ones I used to use
were made in Taiwan and would only last a year
or so, but they worked well when they worked.

     Previous posts on this subject said there
was enough vacuum to run the servo and you
could use the tach output of the alternator
as a source of speed-related input.

     Takes several hours to install one,
and you need to find a place to put the
control module on the dash.

     Good idea to buy two and then you
will have spare parts? No idea what they
cost today.
