I have a good memory for certain things ---- and Gavrik Peterson mentioned induction
tuning way back ----interesting ? yes and it does increase power.
Then Val Christian mentioned induction NOISE on diesels --again velly interesting.
Why is it ? that diesel intakes are that NOISY ? anyway the GM 5.7 and the
Royale Brougham sure had that beat. The intake mufflers on those V8's were
something to behold. They worked----take it from me. Very impressive design.
No NOISE from diesel (marbles) or exhaust or intake. And driving that Delta 88
was a dream. Power and no diesel noise --- and Smooooth.
Oldsmobile was the queen of diesels when introduced. But she fell on bad times real fast.
So do not trust GM now ---saying we only allow the best of engineering. They said that then.
Do not trust anyone paid to promote anything --period. I am not payed to promote
the VW Rabbits or the Beetle. (shit I should be).
Hagar.
