So where does one get the factory manual?  Seems like they'd have to be
out there somewhere...


  I've watched ebay from time to time and so far the closest I have is a 
Dasher repair manual I got from someone on the list.  Seems like the 
Rabbit manual is green.  If you spend the big bucks, you should be 
able to get them from a nice dealer, if the parts or service guy likes 
you.  Catch is they only seem to be available for the first year or two 
of a model introduction or after major changes in a model.  We had 
most of 3 of them for Rabbit when I was at the dealer.  Most were in 
pieces and it didn't seem we could get new ones.  That was about 
'85.
