[Vwdiesel] turbo oil return line

I am preparing to install a 1.9L AAZ TD engine into my 82 diesel vanagon and 
I need some advice on the turbo oil return line.  Its not a TDI, but its very 
similar.

The engine came out of a Golf; it is going into the 82 vanagon in stock, 50 
degree orientation. My questions are:

Where and how is the best way to drill and tap the diesel oil pan for the oil 
return fitting?  Anyone have a picture they can send me of their fitting?

Any suggestions on how to lengthen the return line that came with my engine 
or on where to get a new, longer one made?  Did anyone have an extra made 
because of a "two for the price of one" sale?......I know, wistful thinking!
