[Vwdiesel] diesel scirocco

Are you the first to put an oil burner in a 'rocco? I always pondered
the thought of doing that. Is the 'rocco lighter that an Rabbit 2Dr?

The scirocco is the proud recipient of a NA 1.6 diesel from an 82
rabbit.  I put the power to the ground with a five speed FN trans.  The
scirocco has donated it's engine to my vanagon project, which is keeping
me from the necessary troubleshooting on the diesel.  I played musical
chairs because a diesel vanagon with an automatic trans wouldn't cut it
in my opinion.  I just hope to sort both of them out by winter!
