[Vwdiesel] diesel in gas body

I retired my 85 jetta this spring.  The engine is a jack ewald with only
15k miles.  Problem is the body is rough.  The rear brake lines cracked
basically totaling the car because you can't get new lines, fittings,
flexible hose, proportion valve, and distribution block.

There is a very nice 85 Jetta gasser with a blown engine that came up
for sale near me.  How difficult would it be ?  I would need to move the
gas tank, fuel pump, glow plugs electronics.  Would the gas tranny have
the right gear ratio's?  what about the fuel lines?
