[Vwdiesel] Hagar's blotter test

Derek and ALL  :      I was given this testing procedure from MobiExxon   ESSO Canada.

After having used it now for more than 30 years  and thousand of drops.

NO test is more cost effective and educational than " The Blotter test ".

I use it on ALL liquids  oil fuels coolant  brakefluid and so on.    BUT is really shines on
Rabbit diesels.    Soot loading is a good indicator of things wrong in the engine.
Like a bad injector    Bad or broken rings.   OLD Rabbits  are prone to top ring
breaking.

So I plot soodload in relation to miles driven.   It works.    Someone  from here
asked me where to get blotter paper ?  ---not so simple so I tried printer paper.

WOW it works way better ----  make shure not to change type or brand.

After it is dry   hold it up against a strong light.   -------

PS :   Sorry I am unable to really explain  I have computer problems and medical problems.
As soo as I get better I shall try to explain the MERITS.  I feel sorry for anyone
who miss this way of monitoring a Rabbit. And I thank ESSO Canada for making it
available to the public.FREE of charge. On the net is a couple
of good articles explaining the system  .So if you are a computer nerd  do a search.
