I also have that oil pressure issue. Hard to believe that I put 5k
miles on the engine and it runs at 0 psi at the head. Makes you wonder how
it can be.

I (hagar) think it is normal for the Turbos   --- I drive Bunny Bondo every day like that ---no worry.

Normal for OLD turbos   ---that is why the warning sensor is set so LOW .

As long as the light goes out at say 2000 rpm when warm ?    why worry.?.

The turbo and the squirters are probably favored  ----the top needs little oil.

I drove like that from day one --- 05 Mar 2003     miles then 251827.7 Km.

I would not hesitate to take her coast to coast any time.     at 78 miles per gallon IMP ?
wish I could.     I took a Landrover coast to coast at 19 miles to a gallon Imp  Gasser.

1960  109   Series  2.  worlds best all around SUV   at that time. (still is).

Not really SUV  more like UV.
