Yup, that's quite a change from a bus to a Passat TDI. :-)
I think Hayden's the only one that has a newer Passat and I think he's
had the older one as well. I sure don't know of any reason to avoid a
'96, '97 version. They did have their problems with window regulators,
door handles, etc but then ALL VW's of that vintage had those same
problems as well. Maybe they still do?
