Well, I finally got my testor made.  The thing works absolutely fantastic.  I 
used a new Larin 4 ton bottle jack.  I removed the top nut and ram.  I had a 
piece of 3/16 steel flat welded over the top of the center pipe and a weld to 
plug the top bleed hole on the jack.  I drilled and tapped the top piece of 
flat to NPT.  I added the appropriate fittings to tee to a 4,000 psi gauge and 
injector line.  I used an old line, cut it, and flared it to a 1/4" flare.  All 
parts included probably $30-$35 USD.  That is not including the welding if 
one does not have a welder (or a friend with one), or the flaring tool for $15.  
The jack has the valve to release the pressure, which is a nice safety 
feature.  The welded on top I left a little big, and it holds the outside tube/fluid 
reservior in place.  Slicker'n snot IMHO.  I'll try to get Shawn to post pics
