  I drove the pickup today, no load, (no heater fan either!) and boy oh boy!  
I'm 
inclined to say if you have the money, you plan on keeping, and your head 
is less than perfect, get a new one!  Man this thing runs SO much better 
than it EVER did!  I had the fueling turned up before, about as much as 
I could and peak at 1200F and not smoke much.
  Now it still peaks, on a LONG hill at almost 1200F but seems to be 
lower most of the time getting there.  There's also NO smoke!  Romp 
it off the line and you'll get a puff when you start and that's it!  Even 
going down the road, headlights behind you, there's no opaque smoke 
visible between your mirror and the headlights behind, like usual.  Seat 
of the pants is REALLY impressive too.  :-)  Going to have to give it 
back to Dad and let him have some fun.
