To remove little plunger  from solenoid is easy as apple pie.


Starting fluid is my choice  and  I intend to use rope on front wheel.

There are an amazing number of ways to start a diesel.  But yes I select the top
of the hill for parking.

Like Loren said do not use starting fluid and glowplugs together  --------NEVER
use starting fluid on a Rabbit is my advice.    Remember when I experiment
it is on a spare Rabbit.

Starting fluid is really GOOD for starting diesels  ----it works.
