Nostalgic ?  ah for the memories ------- the only place I drive these days is down 
memory lane.

We do have lots of  Flyboys here -- and considering the skills they bring --
it makes no sence to kick them out as  OT  not wanted.

The blending of Ham and Flyboys and diesel nerds and VW lovers  seems 
perfect in a forum like this where there is no moderator.

Now I happen to know that Scott Kair has a couple of real wing dinger tales
about  a aviation character  --- it is american Volk lore by now.

Next thing us flyboys will be telling Loren how to fly (if he does not already)--- 
his area is perfect for ultralights.. All he has to do is tell the brothers that he
will spray for FREE.

Perfect sprayplane ?   RX 550 Beaver .     worlds best design IMHO. 

I am a DIY VW disel Rabbit fanatic ? --yes  . BUT   I will never give up 
on Physics -learning English and flying and Hamming and Gensets ---and all those
other interesting things.
Wish I could have been a People person ----not to be , I am a nuts and bolts NERD.
